  • As a healthcare provider at Northwest Therapy, my commitment to my patients is to work with you to reach the quality of life you are striving to achieve. The most satisfying aspect of my work is seeing patients achieve their goals while helping them overcome various obstacles through our therapy journey. My hope is that we work together in order to reach the best possible outcomes for your day-to-day life.

Originally from Tennessee, I was a travel physical therapist for 5 years. I had two different contracts in the Pacific Northwest, and the nature, food, and coffee brought me back to make Portland home. I enjoy hiking with my dog Simba, checking out different neighborhoods to try new food and coffee, and staying active at the gym or hiking in the Columbia River Gorge. My favorite part of living here is being able to see the ocean and go to the mountain in one day if I wanted to!

    Education

DPT, University of Tennessee Health Science Center (Memphis, TN)

I spent many years as a travelling therapist and have worked at hundreds of locations doing all sorts of therapy, ranging from neurological rehab, acute care in hospitals, sports therapy, even serving as an expert witness in trials. I served as director of a clinic providing therapy primarily for on-the-job work injuries for many years and while there completed a manual therapy certification program, including over 160 hours of training.

In addition to spending quality time with my wife and daughter, in my spare time I also enjoy camping, backpacking, cycling, playing guitar, photography, and home improvement projects.
